Change. Impermanence. Evolution. The RPG was born from an inspiration to be of service to the community where I was living in the early ‘aughts.’ It quickly grew into a powerful, transformative event for both myself and many, many others. Over the past seven years I have also gone through my own personal changes, and now find myself a thousand miles away from my RPG home, following the life path which has led me to San Francisco and Kadam Dharma. After consulting with fellow founder and chief organizer, Laurie Adams, it is with mixed emotion that I officially step down as President of the RPG.
The RPG could not have happened without the tremendous contributions in effort, time, and resources from Laurie, and board members Gerry and Marilyn Griebel, and to them and all the volunteers, I give my heartfelt thanks.
The future of the RPG will unfold in its own rhythm, and with setting up this new web presence and blog, it is hoped that more people will accept this invitation to join in the movement we have been championing since our inception: “Cultivating the seeds of peace in ourselves, in our communities, and in the world.” I look forward to attending new Peace Gardens, wherever they may sprout, and wish all who have been touched by this work to continue to spread the light of your blessings, faith, and commitment to peace.
Until our paths cross again, I wish you peace.
